1. INTRODUCTION

This document governs the Terms and Conditions for use of the website www.foryouhome.pt and the transactions carried out through it, establishing the agreement between Foryouhome – Luis Miguel Melo Pacheco, Unipessoal Lda (hereinafter “Foryouhome”, “Seller”, “we”) and the User/Customer.

Before completing an order, the Customer must read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By clicking “Confirm Order”, the Customer declares that they understand and accept these Terms.

Foryouhome may update these Terms at any time; the version in force on the date of the order shall apply.

2. USE OF THE WEBSITE

The Customer undertakes to use the website only for lawful purposes, namely for browsing and placing orders.

The Customer declares that:

• They will not place false, speculative, or fraudulent orders.

• They will provide complete and accurate details (name, address, email, and contact information).

• They are at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into contracts.

3. FORMATION OF THE CONTRACT

After completing the purchase process and selecting “Confirm Order”, the Customer receives an Order Confirmation email.

The sales contract is formalised upon sending the Shipping Confirmation, which identifies the products actually dispatched.

4. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Orders are subject to product availability. In the event of a stockout or inability to supply, Foryouhome may:

• propose an alternative of equal or higher quality and value; or

• refund the Customer, should they not wish to accept an alternative.

5. REFUSAL OF ORDER

Foryouhome may refuse or cancel orders in duly justified situations, including indications of fraud, an obvious pricing error, stock unavailability, or inability to deliver.

6. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Under Decree-Law No. 24/2014, the Customer, as a consumer, may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product(s), without having to provide a reason.

This right does not apply in legally предусмотр cases, including:

• products made to the Customer’s specifications or clearly personalised;

• other cases provided for by law.

The refund will be issued after receipt and inspection of the product(s), under the terms set out in the “Returns” section.

7. DELIVERY

Delivery times vary depending on the product and destination and are indicated at checkout and/or on the product page.

Unless expressly stated otherwise (e.g., made-to-order products), delivery must take place within a maximum of 30 days.

Delivery is deemed to have been made upon signature of the proof of delivery at the address provided by the Customer.

Carriers generally make deliveries from Monday to Friday.

8. INABILITY TO DELIVER

If the carrier is unable to make the delivery, the carrier’s procedures will be followed (new attempt, contact with the recipient, or collection at a designated point), where applicable.

9. RISK AND OWNERSHIP

The risk relating to the products transfers to the Customer at the time of delivery.
Ownership of the products is transferred only after full payment of the amounts due.

10. PRICE AND PAYMENT

Prices include VAT (where applicable) and do not include shipping costs, which will be presented before the purchase is completed.

• Multibanco reference
• MB Way
• Bank transfer (reservation for 3 days)
• PayPal
• Klarna (when available)

11. VAT

Purchases made through the website are subject to VAT, where applicable, in accordance with the law.

12. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

The Customer may return products within 14 days, in accordance with the law, provided that:

• they are in good condition, complete, and show no signs of use beyond what is necessary for inspection;

• they are returned with the original packaging and materials, whenever possible.

Return costs are borne by the Customer, except in the event of:

• a confirmed defect;
• a dispatch error;
• duly proven transport damage.

The refund will be made using the same payment method, after receipt and inspection of the product, within a legally appropriate timeframe.

13. CUSTOMS DUTIES AND FEES

Orders outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties and charges at destination, which are the responsibility of the recipient.

14. PRIVACY POLICY

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy available on the website.

15. LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms limits the Customer’s statutory rights as a consumer. Foryouhome is not liable for indirect damages, except where the law imposes liability.

16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the website is the property of Foryouhome or the respective rights holders and may not be used without authorisation.

17. COMMUNICATIONS

Communications should preferably be made by email or via the website form. For legal purposes, the Customer accepts communications by electronic means.

18. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law.
In the event of a consumer dispute, the Customer may resort to Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entities, in accordance with the law, and to the Complaints Book.
